I have been an investor for the past 20+ years. During that span I have worked at a large investment bank (Credit Suisse – it was First Boston in my day), started a long/short equity hedge fund (Gothic Capital Management), worked for two highly impressive distressed debt funds (King Street Capital and Knighthead Capital), and as of February 2011 I am officially a VC with Raptor Group.
Pre-Raptor I managed to invest as a VC in 8 companies – selling 4 and remaining involved in the others.
Hopefully, there’s a lot more investments to come.
I’ve been married to the woman I met on my 18th birthday for over 18 years. We have 2 great daughters together and live in New Canaan Connecticut.
I love tennis, paddle tennis, golf, hiking in Jackson Hole (or any other mountain really), my 500 gallon reef tank, travel, animals, design and architecture, reading (blogs and magazines – although I would love to get through a big stack of books I have), billiards and road biking – in no particular order.
